Arcoprofil invested more than € 1,5 mln in the last 3 years to reduce its GHG impact.
Sustainability goals
To determine the material issues of importance in the field of sustainability, the guidance provided by the materiality matrices of SASB and MSCI then conjugated with the GRI Standards and the SDGs Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda were used.
Priority among the 8 material issues, was identified through a questionnaire submitted to all stakeholders: intersecting the results in a materiality matrix, the priority issues on which activities in the field of sustainability will focus during the biennium 2024-2025 emerged.
SDGs and Agenda 2030
In 2015, the member states of the United Nations (UN) adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda as a blueprint for a sustainable future for all. The SDGs set the global agenda for sustainability and goals to be achieved by 2030, calling on all actors in society, including the private sector, to commit to its implementation. The chart below represents the link between Arcoprofil’s sustainability goals and the UN targets. This makes it possible to measure Arcoprofil’s contribution to achieving them.
